What can Nulsen Disability Services help with?

We provide a suite of quality services for children and teenagers with a complex disability.

Everything from 24/7 supported accommodation, planning, support in your home, support for getting out and about, creative and life skills, positive behaviour strategies, respite, and therapy.

It all depends on your goals and what you’d like to do. What do you need? What are you working towards? We design and implement tailored personal programs for each person we support based on their goals, hopes and dreams so they have the highest possible quality of life.

As your goals or needs change throughout your life, our services will change alongside you. Every person has the right to pursue their dreams and aspirations. We’re ready to get started when you are.

We do a planning roster every month, so then I can choose my outings that I want to do and how many hours each day and when I want other hours.

Supports and services for teenagers with complex needs

Growing up means making choices about adulthood and the future, so it’s a relief to know there’s an experienced ally at your side. Our disability support workers and allied health professionals are able to help with health and therapy sessions, preparing for or leaving school, mobility equipment support and preparing or managing your plan.

We also offer ASDAN, a life skills program for students with disabilities. Students of all ages find these programs useful to build their skills for learning, employment, and for life. These skills might include curriculum-based concepts, such as language and math, as well as resources to help move toward independence.

Educational assistance: what is ASDAN?

ASDAN is a life skills program for students with disabilities. Students of all ages find these programs useful to build their skills for learning, employment, and for life. Nulsen is an approved provider of ASDAN.

My needs have changed, can I change my plan?

Of course! In order to access the services you now need, please contact Nulsen to discuss updating your NDIS service delivery plan. For example, developing a plan to support learning and development, or acquiring new equipment.

Respite services for family

Nulsen offers flexible respite services for parents caring for an adult or child with a disability so families may have a break from their caring responsibilities. This can be delivered in the home, out of home or in the community.

Where can Nulsen visit?

Generally we’re happy to visit you and your child at home, or school. Some programs, such as hydrotherapy, can only be delivered in a specialised location, but we’re highly flexible.
