Announcement! Outcare to transition to Nulsen.
Nulsen is joining forces with respected Western Australian community organisation Outcare.
From now until 30 June 2019, Nulsen and Outcare will conduct a thorough due diligence process covering the financial, legal and contractual issues involved in bringing the two organisations together.
Then from 1 July 2019, we will take a further 6-12 months to review how the combined organisation will work best going forward. Business will proceed as usual during this time. We believe our two organisations are an exceptional ‘values’ fit and both will enjoy considerable benefits from the change.
The Nulsen and Outcare Boards believe that such a move will strengthen our two organisations benefiting our clients, as well as creating additional career opportunities for our employees.
Both organisations have proud histories of providing quality services to our communities: for more than 60 years Nulsen has nurtured the potential of every person to lead a good life, while organisationally the past five years have been a time of growth and the culture is robust. In turn, Outcare has more than 50 years’ experience in helping people to regain direction and reintegrate into the community.
Under the planned change, Outcare will transition under the Nulsen Group structure. Services provided by Outcare are aligned with our current customer profile of supporting people who have complex needs. Outcare will be an additional service stream of Nulsen Group, and will be separate to the Nulsen Disability Services’ and Nulsen Therapy operating structure.
The change reflects a key element of the Nulsen 2018-2023 Strategic Plan which identifies mergers and acquisitions as an effective way to diversify and expand our service offering. The foundation for this came at the organisation’s recent Annual General Meeting, where Members voted to change our legal name from Nulsen Haven Association Inc. to Nulsen Group Inc. This allows the organisation to diversify and offer different services under the same organisational structure.
Nulsen and Outcare look forward to continuing our discussions.
