ID: Wilson - Accommodation Vacancy

Nulsen provides 24/7 SIL support to a 31-year-old man who currently resides in a 2-bedroom unit in Wilson.

He describes himself being hilarious, pretty good looking and would make a good salesperson. He also describes himself as being a caring man and often offers protection to people he perceives need his protection.

He’s keen to find another male housemate who “gets him” and shares his interests and sense of humour and someone who is of a similar age to him. He enjoys gaming, Pokémon and soccer. He also likes to play games at iplay at carousel and try his luck with purchasing scratchies!

The people who have supported this young man for a long time, have suggested he may be suited to live with someone who has a level of protective behaviours and who can implement their own boundaries.

Gosnells 1

ID: Gosnells 1 - Accommodation Vacancy

Just a short stroll to a range of amenities in Gosnells, this home has it all.

As one of four well-maintained homes on a very large block, this property caters for five people with high and/or complex support needs. This may include people with intellectual and/or physical disability who may also require increased physical and medical support.

Our onsite model allows for 24/7 support with an active, awake shift overnight. Team members include support workers who have the backing of a house manager and an area manager. The housemates are men and women aged between 56 and 74 years old.

In the southern end of Gosnells, this home is super-close to:

Housemates have access to nursing support at times throughout the day (please note, this is not 24/7 and this service is not a nursing model) and have the support of a local GP who visits on a regular basis, or as needed. The medical support needs of potential new housemates would need to be assessed on a case-by-case basis to make sure we have the capacity to support them fully.

This home welcomes the interest from someone with higher support needs who needs a home that can cater for the use of their wheelchair and other mobility aids. The housemates enjoy a calm and peaceful home, so the ideal person is someone who does not become aggressive or overly noisy.
